Exploring the Winter Wonderland; Brandywine Falls Provincial Park

This post is a little overdue but here it is...

Sticking to my New Year's Resolution, I ventured into North Vancouver to a place known as Brandywine Falls with my new friend Joise Baik. A picture speaks a thousand words and since I took more than one this might as well be a short novel (please appreciate my sense of humour) so I'll let the images do most of the talking. Hope you enjoy walking through my adventure time!

The pathway to the beginning of our adventure. We had to stay on the right path because the snow was knee deep.

It was a great day of photographic adventure time as we attempted to get to the foot of the waterfall.

We hiked all over trying to find the "secret path" thats not on the map to the base of the waterfall. after a good hour of hiking in the snow we came to the conclusion that we were not getting anywhere near where we wanted to be and only later on we realised we were actually hiking towards Whistler.

Unfortunately there was too much snow and we couldn't find the "secret path" to the bottom. Either way the conditions would have made it too dangerous for us to get down and even harder to get back up. Oh well, I guess I'll have to go back some other time.

Thats our picture after realising we were actually on our way to Whistler. Anyways, Josie is an amazing photographer and great company. Check out her shots on Instagram at baiktobasics and her site: http://baiktobasics.com
